Lend Certified ("we," "our," or "the site") is a public directory of licensed mortgage brokers. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
Broker account holders (brokers who claim a profile): email address, password (stored as a secure hash by Supabase), and any profile information you voluntarily provide (bio, company, lender relationships, closings, photo, public contact email/phone).
Public visitors and endorsers: we do not require an account to browse or endorse. When you submit an endorsement, we record your answers and a one-way hash of your IP address. We do not store your raw IP address.
Usage data: we may use a privacy-light analytics tool (such as Plausible) to count page views and feature usage. No personal identifiers are linked to these counts.
Broker profile information — including name, NMLS number, company, location, and regulatory action counts — is derived from public records on the NMLS Consumer Access database. We display this data to help agents and buyers evaluate brokers. If you believe your profile contains an error, submit a request and we'll review it.
Broker account data is retained as long as the account exists. Endorsement records are retained indefinitely to maintain an accurate profile history. You may request deletion of your account data by submitting a request.
We use Supabase for data storage and authentication. All traffic is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Row-level security policies ensure brokers can only modify their own profiles and cannot access other brokers' private data.
